Pitzhanger Manor
£250.00
This linocut is of Ealing’s Pitzhanger Manor, designed and built by Sir John Soane, one of Britain’s most influential architects.
It is a reduction linocut, which means the block is recarved after each colour is printed, making it a limited edition piece. This particular edition is a small one and only four prints exist.
The image measures 30cm x 40cm and is printed on cotton paper (Somerset Velvet) measuring 38cm x 50cm.
Because this is a hand-pulled print there are differences between each one – part of the charm of something that has been made by an artist using techniques over a century old!
